Christ The Glory Of God

Christ is the glory of God.

Philippians 2:5-6

[5]Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

[6]Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Christ was a form of God, bodily.

 Colossians 2:9

[9]For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Christ made it possible for the invisible God to express Himself and His will visibly on earth. A bodily man containing the glory of God, Christ fulfilled and accomplished the mission of the fallen son of God.

2 Corinthians 4:4-18

[4]In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.[5]For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.[6]For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

[7]But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.[8]We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;[9]Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;[10]Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.[11]For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. [12]So then death worketh in us, but life in you.[13]We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;[14]Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.[15]For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.[16]For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.[17]For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;[18]While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18

[17]Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

[18]But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

The glory of God is the destiny of man; every soul was designed after the pattern of His glory, so every soul stands for the expression of His glory. When we don't know and understand the motivation of our creation, or the goal for our existence, we replace the Divine idea of our existence with the pursuit of materials; we ought to pursue God's glory because God is in anticipation for us to become the full expression of His eternal glory on earth. Time on earth is our spiritual journey to attaining glory and manifesting glory. We bring to earth the glory that is sealed up in the invisible or spirit realm.

Creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God, guess what? Not just one son but sons, these sons are in the order of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit's responsibility is to raise sons after the order of Jesus Christ. Only the Holy Spirit has the resources to raise-up such sons. This makes fellowship with the Holy Spirit crucial as without fellowship with the Holy Spirit sons in the order of Jesus Christ cannot be raised by the Holy Spirit.

God is calling creation to the reality and experience of His glory. God is calling souls out from darkness into His light; God is calling His fallen sons to their throne of glory. This is the season of our glory; we all have the opportunity to be clothed with glory, to be glorified to be representatives of the eternal God.

Christ is God's Spiritual infrastructure for His fallen sons to be clothed with glory. The first step to be glorified is to receive the gift of glory, this is the King of glory, and His Name is Jesus Christ. He is the firstborn son of God seated in glory, born and justified by the eternal Spirit of glory and reigning in glory, bringing all fallen sons of God to glory, into His glory.

Psalms 24:7-10

[7]Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

[8]Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

[9]Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

[10]Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Jesus Christ is the accurate expression of God's life, because He came in this capacity to give to men this life. Anyone who receives Jesus Christ receives the gift of God's life, known as eternal Life.

Eternal life is only with God. Jesus came in the capacity of the fullness of eternal life. Jesus was born by eternal life, the very life of God is what He is.

John 3:16 [16]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 14:6 [6]Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1 John 5:11-13,20

[11]And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

[12]He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

[13]These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

[20]And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

After receiving Jesus Christ, the second thing to do is to sustain a fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Eternal life is in the personality of the Holy Spirit, this means that eternal life is not an inanimate substance, but a living reality, to relate with the soul He is domiciled in. Our consciousness of this reality facilitates the fellowship between the soul and the Holy Spirit.

We should also bear in mind that the Holy Spirit is the ministry of Jesus Christ in our lives, to bring us into His glory. Many don't pay attention to the need for fellowship, eternal life will not become an experience if we don't devote ourselves to learning from the Holy Spirit, only the Holy Spirit has the syllabus for this reality. He educates every soul until we begin to experience the glory domiciled in us.

The objective is to bring you to glory, these experiences will manifest in bits day after day.

All is not going to happen in one day, otherwise, we will be consumed by the power of the glory, it unfolds gradually and this growth in glory will continue in heaven, we may all not be at the same stage, but surely we will be journeying into the experiences of God's glory.

We sustain fellowship with the Holy Spirit by consistent regular prayerful life, fasting, studying the word of God, meditating on God's word, worshipping God, etc. The knowledge of God we acquire from fellowship becomes the Spiritual substance for our transformation. So every day you are in fellowship the Holy Spirit will daily give you a Spiritual manner, which turns you into the personality of the glory bit by bit.

Eternal life is the life Adam lost in the Garden of Eden. But God in His Mercy and abundant love is giving to man His gift of life. Any soul that rejects eternal life remains in eternal death, as Adam rejected the tree life and experienced death.
